I would recommend booking your makeup as soon as you confirm your date and venue, to avoid disappointment. I always suggest to my brides booking a trial at least 6 weeks before the big day. 

Trials are a great way for me to introduce myself and to talk through and discuss ideas you have for your wedding makeup and also your bridal party if required. You may like to collect pictures from Instagram or Pinterest etc. of makeup styles you particularly like to show me. A great tip when doing this is to look to people with similar colourings to you for inspiration. These visual aids are really helpful to demonstrate the look you are after and would like to trial before the day.
 

There is no time limit to trials but a makeup trial often takes around 1.5hrs so please ask me if you need to run to a specific time schedule that day. Don't be alarmed at this timeframe as your trial will take much longer than it does on the day as it involves a lot of talking, preparing, trialling, questions and product advice.

Once your trial is complete and you love the look, reference photos are taken and detailed notes are made of the products used so that on the morning of your wedding, when time is of the essence, I can recreate your chosen look with ease!
